I James Levy of Manewdon in the County of Essex Carpenter being in health and of sound and dispasing?? Mind memory and Understanding Do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say ) First I Give and devise All and every any Freehold Messuages land Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever with their Apportenances situate and being at Manewden aforesaid unto my Loving Wife Letitia Levy and my Friend Robert Piper of Manewdon Miller and to the Survivor of them their heirs and assigns forever Upon the Trusts and for the uses intents and purposes following (to wit) Upon Trust to Sell and dispose of the same as soon as conveniently may be after my decease for the best price that can be got. And I direct that my said Trustees receipts alone shall be a good and sufficient discharge unto such Purchasers for the Monies arising by Sale of my Estate nor shall they be in any wise answerable or accountable for any misapplication thereof. And upon further trust to action and pay unto my said Wife Letitia out of the Monies arising by such Sale the net sum of One Hundred and Ten Pounds clear of all deductions. And in Case of her decease the same to be divided and paid equally between her Brothers and Sisters the lawful Children of such as are dead to take their Parents part. And to pay and divide the remainder of the Monies arising by such Sale equally unto and between my six Daughters, Susanna, Ann, Margaret, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mary ( the lawful Children such as are dead to take their mothers part ) Also I give and bequeath unto my said Wife Letitia All the Household Goods and Furniture in her own Bed Chamber with all my Bed and Table Linen And all the Rest residue and remainder of my monies Credits Securities Stock in Trade Goods Chattels and personal Estate whatsoever ( after payment of my just Debts Funeral and incident Expenses ) I Give and bequeath unto my said Wife Letitia and the said Robert Piper Upon Trust nevertheless to sell divide and pay the same in manner ( to wit ) One full third part thereof to go and be paid unto my said Wife Letitia and the remaining two third parts thereof to go and be equally unto and amongst my said six Daughters and their lawful Children in like manner as I have above directed concerning the money arising by sale of my Estate. And I do hereby make nominate and appoint my said wife Letitia and said Robert Piper Executor of this my Will and direct that they shall not be answerable for any involuntary loss nor accountable for the Acts Deeds or Defaults of the other of them but each for his and her own separate Acts and Deeds only and revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made. I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Testator James Levy have hereunto et my hand and Seal this twenty seventh day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and ninety James Levy Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator James Levy as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto Edwd Knoll John Cowell W Sens Serv.t??

Proved on the thirtieth Day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and ten before the Reverend Raymond Edward Lawrence Rogers Clerk Surrogate pending the Episcopal Visitation by the Oath of Letitia Levy widow of the deceased one of the Executors to whom Administration was granted she being first sworn duly to Administer Power being reserved of making the like grant to Robert Piper the other Executor when he shall apply for the same
